Freshwater Longboard Club is now a Heart Safe Community, ABLE and READY to help save lives in case of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest

Freshwater Long Board Club Lifesaving Demonstration

Thank you Andrea from the Freshwater Longboard Club for inviting Heart Safe Australia to raise awareness and education about saving a life in case of a heart attack or cardiac arrest out-of-hospital with a lifesaving demonstration to the club members.

On average, 575 Australians suffering a Sudden Cardiac Arrest out-of-hospital every week and ONLY 1 out of 10 WILL SURVIVE!

Our Heart Safe Home Community program initiative was created to raise awareness and education about the very important 3-STEPS to help save a life during a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) out-of-hospital and about the vital function that defibrillators (AED) can perform in saving lives in communities across Australia.

Having access to defibrillators and very importantly, having awareness and education to help save a life in case of a heart attack and cardiac arrest out-of-hospital is needed across Australia.

It’s important to educate as many people as possible in clubs, organisations and community to make sure everyone is ABLE and READY to help save a life during our day-to-day life.

Being PROACTIVE with awareness and education with our Heart Safe Community lifesaving program is key to be ABLE and READY to help save a life as opposed to being REACTIVE and not really know what to do!

Everyone can be a lifesaver with defibrillator awareness, access and lifesaving education.
