NSW & QLD Road Trip visiting 20 Holiday Parks Raising Awareness and Education to Save Lives

The Heart Safe Australia team visited 20 holidays parks across QLD and NSW during the Holidays Season to share lifesaving demonstrations to staff, permanent residents and RV owner / Travellers and make the holiday parks a Heart Safe Community.

Great to be invited by Holiday Parks such as Ingenia, Reflections, Big4, Discovery Parks, Family Parks, Tourist Parks and Tasman Parks to share such powerful lifesaving demonstrations.

Unfortunately, most people are NOT READY to help into a cardiac arrest or heart attack situation.  Most don’t know the difference between a heart attack (circulation) and cardiac arrest (electrical) which requires a defibrillator to save the patient.  Well, they know now!

We find 95+ % of people WOULD NOT be comfortable helping saving a life in case of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest out-of-hospital prior to our lifesaving demonstrations.

On average, 575 Australians suffering a Sudden Cardiac Arrest out-of-hospital every week and ONLY 1 out of 10 WILL SURVIVE!

After our Raising Awareness and Education presentation, we find 95+% of people WOULD BE comfortable help save a life while having access to a defibrillator and CPR awareness training.
